Being thinner than Spaghetti, but thicker than Vermicelli, one needs to know that the name comes from “Spaghetti” with the word ending in “ini” which means “Little Spaghetti”. Spaghettini – like their bigger cousin Spaghetti – originates from the South of Italy and is commonly used with tomato sauces, fresh vegetables, or fish.
