Synopsis

Phoenix cop Ben Shockley’s dream of breaking the big case has long since faded. His assignment to escort a witness from Las Vegas for a minor mob trial seems like just another meaningless exercise — until the bullets start flying. The witness turns out to be a sharp, street-smart prostitute named Gus Mally, whom virtually everyone, including the police, wants dead before she can testify. Trapped between both sides of the law, Shockley and Mally must fight their way through raging gunfire, swooping helicopters, murderous ambushes and a gauntlet of crooked officers — building to a ferocious finale that will determine whether justice can survive at all.
